The growth of the nation is determined by the way in which the animals are treated in that country.
TamilNadu Government and our Director are determined to avoid FMD outbreak in our State for which the ensuing round of vaccination programme has to be made a great success. We the member of TNVASA too wish and vow to make this happen.
TNVASA parent body have conducted various levels of discussions with our Director to safeguard our members’ welfare and to reduce our work burden. He is kind enough to provisionally accept our demands.
To maximize the animal turnout, propaganda plays a major role. The importance of Local body members’ involvement was stressed in the discussions with our Director and our Secretary. Director is taking various steps by involving District Collectors to conduct special grama sabha meeting, District Coordination Committee meeting and all BDO’s to conduct block level meeting with local body members in all villages. These steps have effectively entrusted propaganda with Local body members.
We also discussed the impracticality of filling vaccination cards by the vaccinator himself at the time of vaccination. We requested our Director to ensure the help of village secretaries or any other nominated members in the Panchayat for filling up the vaccination cards. He too instructed the District Collectors to make necessary arrangements.
Our Director has put all his efforts to provide one vehicle per block. All District Secretaries of TNVASA are requested to contact AD’s and JD’s.
Our Director is very much particular about to maximize the number of animals vaccinated. All animals must be pooled in identified places and vaccination should be done effectively.
We promised our members’ fullest cooperation in achieving the maximum coverage. In this context ,we request our members to accord the highest priority to vaccination camps among our various other regular works.
We also requested our Director for alternate arrangements to carryout the works of fodder depos .
Dear Doctors, under the able guidance of our Director, together let us strive hard to ensure the success of the vaccination programme.
The district office bearers are requested to contact nearby parent body members regarding FMD CP-6th round vaccination discussion with our Commissioner.
